OKX is seeking a Manager or Senior Manager to join the Digital Trust & Controls Assurance team. This role focuses on data security and AI governance, enabling critical assurance projects that protect sensitive company and customer data and support responsible AI adoption at a leading crypto organization. As a senior individual contributor, you will perform deep technical assessments of controls that secure valuable information assets and the company\'s AI strategy, guidelines, and risk management practices. What You’ll Be Doing
Serve as the subject matter expert for auditing the technical controls that protect sensitive data (including encryption and cryptographic key management) and the enterprise-wide AI strategy, guidelines, and risk management frameworks for internal and third-party AI tools. Leverage your deep expertise to lead the data protection assurance program and pioneer the AI assurance program, while contributing to a wide range of audits across other Digital Trust domains. Contribute to the annual risk-based audit plan by identifying emerging data security and AI-related risks and scoping potential audit projects. Collaborate effectively with engineering, security, product, technology, and legal stakeholders to communicate audit findings, provide value-added recommendations, and monitor remediation plans. Develop and maintain expert knowledge of the evolving crypto threat landscape, data security best practices, and the AI regulatory landscape to keep audit approaches current and effective. What We Look For In You
We are seeking a hands-on, technically skilled auditor who is a recognized subject matter expert in Data Security and AI Governance and Risk. You have demonstrable experience assessing controls in complex, high-technology environments—ideally within crypto or FinTech—and you thrive on applying deep specialty while contributing broadly across security, privacy, and technology domains. Crypto & Blockchain Acumen: Prior experience with a crypto exchange or crypto product is highly preferred. A fundamental understanding of blockchain technology, including distributed ledgers, consensus mechanisms, and cryptography, is required. Data Security & AI Governance (SME): Deep expertise in auditing controls that protect data (encryption, cryptographic key management such as HSMs, MPC) and auditing AI strategy, guidelines, and risk management frameworks for in-house and third-party AI tools. Critical Thinking for Complex Environments: Ability to analyze novel technical environments in crypto, identify root causes, and propose effective, context-specific solutions. Broad Expertise Across Digital Trust Domains: Demonstrated experience auditing controls in areas such as Data Privacy & Governance, Cybersecurity Governance & Operations, IT General Controls (ITGCs), and AI Governance & Risk. Data Analysis & SQL: Experience using SQL for data analysis is highly desired, with the ability to become proficient in data analytics with SQL within the first 90 days. Why OKX?
