Overview
Senior Integration Architect to play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our enterprise integration strategy. Design, develop, and implement secure, scalable integration solutions across batch, real-time, and API-driven environments. Leverage MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, and Databricks to architect solutions that connect business-critical systems and enable seamless data flow across the organization. This role requires deep expertise in enterprise integration patterns, API-led connectivity, and microservices architecture, along with a strong command of the full software development lifecycle. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and fellow architects to translate complex business requirements into effective technical solutions, providing hands-on technical guidance and ensuring alignment between integration initiatives and business goals. You will define and evolve our integration roadmap, evaluate new tools and technologies to support scale and agility, and influence architecture decisions to position the organization for long-term digital success. Design and develop comprehensive, scalable, and secure integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (including Anypoint Studio, API Manager, Runtime Manager, Exchange, and other components). Define integration architecture blueprints, technical designs, and specifications in alignment with enterprise architecture standards and business requirements. Lead the design of APIs (RESTful) using RAML, OpenAPI Specification, and other relevant standards, ensuring reusability and adherence to API-led connectivity principles. Evaluate and recommend appropriate MuleSoft components, connectors, and reusable integration patterns for various use cases. Technical Leadership & Mentorship
Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and architectural principles. Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure the quality and performance of integration solutions. Serve as a subject matter expert for MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, integration technologies, and related tools. Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues, performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and drive continuous enhancement of the platform. Collaborate with product teams and other technical groups to gather requirements, define scope, and deliver solutions. Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Participate in project planning, estimation, and risk assessment activities. Implementation & Deployment
Oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle of MuleSoft integrations from design to deployment and post-production support. Define and implement CI/CD pipelines for MuleSoft projects using Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar tools. Ensure proper configuration and management of MuleSoft environments in cloud, hybrid, or on-premises setups. Define and implement automated API testing framework using MUnit. Establish an observability framework with monitoring, logging, and error handling for integration solutions. Governance & Best Practices
Establish and enforce MuleSoft development best practices, standards, and governance policies. Define and manage API governance, security policies (OAuth 2.0, SAML, JWT), and authentication methods. Stay updated with MuleSoft features, industry trends, and emerging integration technologies. Contribute to the evolution of the overall integration strategy and roadmap. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 8 to 10 years of experience handling enterprise-level application integration. 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience as a MuleSoft Architect or Lead Developer, specifically with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Mule 4.x preferred). Proficiency in XML, JSON, SOAP, REST, and other data formats and protocols. Expertise in MuleSoft DataWeave for data transformation. Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling and cloud data solutions. Strong understanding of integration patterns (synchronous, asynchronous, batch, pub/sub, service orchestration, event-driven). Proficiency in RAML, OpenAPI Specification, XML, JSON, and other data formats. Experience with various MuleSoft connectors. Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies for MuleSoft deployments. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and deploying and managing applications in cloud and on-premises. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications
MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect (MCPA) certification. Experience with API Gateway configurations and policies (security, throttling, rate limiting). Familiarity with message queues and event streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ). Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment. Salary and Benefits
Salary: $169,000 - $206,000 per year. In addition to base salary, a discretionary annual bonus is provided. The starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, and qualifications. Wellbeing & Equal Opportunity
