6+ Months Contract-to-Hire About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled

Microsoft Cybersecurity Engineer

with strong expertise in endpoint management, security, and enterprise data governance. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, Windows 365/AVD, and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Purview and security E5 features. This role requires strong technical troubleshooting, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to design and implement scalable, secure solutions across a large enterprise environment. Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage

end-user device solutions

across Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile platforms. Lead

MDM implementation

and administration using Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, and Microsoft Endpoint Manager. Administer and support

virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI)

including Windows 365, Azure Virtual Desktop, Amazon Workspaces, Hyper-V, and VMware. Manage

identity and access

through Azure Active Directory and Active Directory Migration Tool (Quest). Configure, deploy, and maintain

Microsoft Office 365 suite

(Teams, SharePoint, Visio, etc.) with advanced administration. Implement

data security and governance

strategies leveraging Microsoft Purview, data classification, labeling, and data posture management solutions. Utilize

E5 security features

to optimize enterprise security and compliance posture. Provide

expert-level troubleshooting

of complex device, OS, and security issues in large-scale, distributed environments. Support

security patching

lifecycle for Windows 10/11 and related OS environments. Build and automate processes using scripting languages such as

PowerShell, Python, SQL, or AWS CLI . Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance

IoT security management and monitoring . Ensure alignment with organizational

cybersecurity and compliance policies . Required Qualifications

5+ years

in end-user device engineering and enterprise IT environments. 5+ years

working with MDM solutions (Intune, Autopilot, Endpoint Manager). Proven expertise in

Windows 10/11, Windows Registry, and device/user policy administration . Strong knowledge of

Windows security patching processes . Advanced administration of

Office 365 product suite

and collaboration tools. Proficiency in

PowerShell scripting

and at least one additional scripting language (SQL, Python, AWS CLI). Hands-on experience with

Azure AD

and AD migrations. Solid understanding of

network protocols and infrastructure basics . Experience with

Microsoft Purview, data classification, and governance frameworks . Strong troubleshooting skills in

large, distributed enterprise environments . Excellent communication, documentation, and cross-team collaboration skills. Willingness to work occasional evenings/weekends for critical deployments or escalations. Preferred Certifications

Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert or Security Administrator Associate MCSE, AWS Solutions Architect, Network+, A+, or other relevant certifications
