Job Overview

Manager, Infrastructure and Security Operations. The Manager, IT Infrastructure and Security is responsible for design, implementation, monitoring and support of all infrastructure and security solutions within Deciphera. This includes hands-on delivery of day-to-day support of the environment and integrating systems with Deciphera’s parent company, ONO Pharmaceutical based in Japan. What You’ll Do

Lead the planning, implementation, and support of on-premises and cloud infrastructure (e.g., networks, servers, storage, virtualization, cloud platforms like AWS/Azure). Ensure high availability and performance of all IT systems, including disaster recovery and business continuity planning. Manage infrastructure projects including upgrades, migrations, and rollouts. Monitor system capacity, performance, reliability, and drive improvements. Develop and manage technical solutions to mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities. Optimize, build and maintain network infrastructure. Define security policies and provide guidance across functions. Evaluate, monitor security systems and partner with security vendors. Assist in development of the overall security model to ensure correct vendors and controls are in place. Ensure security provides needed protection for overall infrastructure including Deciphera systems and SaaS solutions. Provide audit support with information related to IT systems and controls. Develop, implement and maintain IT policies, procedures and associated plans for IT. Manage the overall infrastructure security model and vendor oversight. Own, implement and maintain security measures to protect IT infrastructure from cyberthreats, including risk assessment, data protection, secure networks and endpoints, incident response, penetration testing, application security and phishing awareness training. Qualifications

What you’ll bring

Effective communication across various audiences (technical to business). Third-party management, working closely with sourcing and vendor managers. Knowledge across a broad spectrum of data security disciplines and systems. Knowledge of SOX, FDA and GxP requirements as well as HIPAA and GDPR. Experience supporting or implementing frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 2700x, SOX, HIPAA. Deep knowledge of cybersecurity risks and management of these risks. Knowledge of endpoint/mobile device management for computers and mobile devices. Education & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related discipline. Security infrastructure certificates preferred. 10 years’ experience with a minimum of 5 in Lifesciences. Experience with SaaS vendor audits, Cyber Security, SSO, and IAM. Experience managing compliance of hosted (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS) systems in a life sciences environment. Experience with patch management, security hardening, AV, and other endpoint security solutions. Proficiency with modern networking, communication tools and cloud connectivity security principles. Additional Information

Deciphera is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary pay range for this role is $128,000 - $177,000. Actual compensation packages will depend on various factors, including but not limited to depth of experience, education, skillset, overall performance and/or location.
