The Director of Finance is responsible for the oversight of the day‑to‑day accounting operations, the monthly close process, financial statement preparation, analyses, regulatory reporting, as well as the strategic financial planning and reporting. The position requires knowledge of all aspects of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). The Director of Finance is a key member of the organization’s leadership team. Responsibilities

Take full ownership and accountability for all accounting operations, including daily cash management, accounts receivable and invoicing, accounts payable, general ledger maintenance, fixed asset subledgers, and account reconciliations. Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts and manage intercompany cash transactions. Generate financial statements and supporting schedules in alignment with the monthly close calendar and GAAP reporting standards. Oversee the intercompany reconciliation process to ensure accuracy and compliance. Manage regulatory reporting requirements, including local business tax filings. Support the annual financial audit process by providing documentation and addressing inquiries. Safeguard company assets by establishing, monitoring, and reviewing effective internal controls. Lead the development and execution of the annual strategy, budget, forecasting, monthly estimates, and business reviews in collaboration with the President and executive team. Drive initiatives focused on automation, operational efficiency, and scalability to support business growth. Lead and mentor a finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Undertake additional projects and responsibilities to support evolving business needs. Strong knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles, with advanced expertise in revenue recognition and lease accounting. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Hands-on approach with a willingness to engage deeply in details. Proven experience building and developing high-performing finance teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities. Commitment to continuous process improvement. Advanced Excel skills and strong data comprehension. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines. Ability to effectively influence and collaborate with direct reports, peers, and senior leaders. Education & Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA license or equivalent certification preferred. 7+ years of progressive financial management experience. Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in finance. Solid financial, analytical, and business acumen. Seniority level
