Base pay range
$250,000.00/yr - $400,000.00/yr Our client is seeking to hire a Head of IRRBB within their Global ALM, Treasury team. ALM is responsible for managing the corporate balance sheet, net interest income forecast and interest rate risk positioning. The team focuses on optimizing the risk/reward relationship by recommending strategies for sustaining and growing NII while being mindful of regulatory constraints. The Managing Director and Head of Interest Rate Risk (IRRBB) would the firms identification, measurement, monitoring and management of corporate IRRBB, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This position will oversee the reporting & analysis for the firm’s NII sensitivity, economic value of equity and mark to market frameworks. Responsibilities
Responsible for the firm’s on-going balance sheet and NII stress testing Identify and communicate key storylines, risks and opportunities on the firm’s balance sheet positioning Prepare and present clear, concise and influential presentations to senior management and regulatory bodies Oversee and enhance rate risk models, behavioral assumptions and scenario analysis frameworks Drive internal, stress-testing routines and regulatory-driven CCAR exercises for balance sheet and NII Manage, mentor and provide ongoing feedback to a team of analysts Partner with other team members across ALM, Global Treasury, Finance and Risk Develop and maintain comprehensive policies, procedures and documentation for IRR management Perform timely and accurate ad-hoc analytics Support quarter-end earnings preparation process and related regulatory filings Education & Preferred Qualifications
Relevant experience in financial services. Treasury, ALM or IRR experience at a large financial institution, preferred Effective collaboration with peers and business partners with an ability to influence across functions and levels Proven ability to solve problems and improve existing processes Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to simplify complex material and tailor it to the audience Demonstrated ability to lead teams and develop talent Seniority level
