Dirty Habit is seeking On-Call Banquet Service Associates to join our team in serving guests with creativity and passion, providing support to Hotel Zelos and Hotel Zeppelin during scheduled citywide conferences. Read BEO and know how to complete a set-up. Set tables in assigned area correctly and uniformly. Keep station neat and clean while servicing guests following established policies and procedures. Operate in-room clearing and tray breakdown for buffets or other special food service setups. Assist Lead Banquet Servers in set-up and breakdown of buffet or other special tables and equipment. Greet and serve guests following policies/procedures for service of food and beverages. Follow all guest check and money-handling procedures for a-la-carte and beverage orders. Complete assigned sidework and remain attentive to guests throughout the dining experience. Be flexible with shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays during major citywide conferences. Education/Formal Training
High school education or equivalent. Experience
Previous experience in a similar position of 3 months or longer. Knowledge/Skills
Must have basic knowledge of customer service principles, food service operations, and restaurant and kitchen operations. Physical Demands
Lifting trays, dish racks, glass racks, etc. 20-40 lbs; pushing carts and portable bar 50-100 lbs. Carrying trays and equipment up to 20-40 lbs with both hands. Must be able to punch buttons, grasp items, and balance and carry loaded trays. Ability to bend, kneel, and reach to lower level cabinets and lift trays. Mobility to maneuver in narrow areas and between seated guests. Continuous standing required during shifts. Must be able to climb approximately 12 steps in 20% of an 8-hour shift. No driving required. Ability to read and comprehend records and special requests; follow verbal and written instructions; communicate effectively. Highly organized with attention to detail in crowded and noisy environments. Environment
Physically strenuous work with prolonged standing, walking, lifting and carrying in a 95% indoors environment. Freezer temperatures can be as low as -10 degrees. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. EOE Compensation
