Overview
Technical Architect - Systems at Heartland Business Systems. The role develops, implements, and supports systems services and solutions for consulting clients. Build a customer-focused relationship with clients to identify business challenges and develop specifications and requirements to arrive at the best solution. Responsibilities
Collaborate with Practice Leads to create and maintain documents and procedures. Execute with Project Managers and Practice Leads on large projects, on time and on budget. Provide leadership and communicate with the Project Management Team to ensure tasks are completed accurately and timely. Lead engineers on projects with multiple technologies. Provide daily updates on projects and proactively communicate timelines, hours, resources, concerns, etc. Facilitate collaboration between business units to deliver a world-class customer experience. Lead customer and team meetings with clear communication. Contribute to product selection, configuration standards, and best practices; educate sales teams. Work in a collaborative, professional team environment across regional and virtual practices. Maintain current vendor/industry certifications and stay current on new products and solutions. Grow professionally per the Engineering skills matrix (project experience, leadership, certifications, technical expertise). Minimum of 1,450 hours billed per fiscal year, prorated based on start date (balanced with development and training). Qualifications
5+ years in a technical related field Experience
Preferred: 6-8 years in a technical related field; 4+ years’ experience working as a Consultant Skills, Education and Certifications
Bachelor’s Degree, equivalent certifications or equivalent work experience At least two Associate level certifications CCNP, CCP-V, VCAP-DCV, MCA or equivalent work experience Experience designing and architecting systems-based solutions Preferred Skills, Education and Certifications
CCIE, CCE-V, VCDX-DCV, CCDE or equivalent level certifications/work experience Designing, installing, and supporting Cisco, HPE, or Dell servers Designing, installing, and supporting HPE, Dell, or Pure storage Designing, Installing, and supporting hyperconverged infrastructure Designing, installing, and supporting Microsoft enterprise and cloud products Cisco Nexus technologies such as VDC, vPC, VXLAN Data Center / Core design, configuration, and implementation utilizing Cisco Nexus Architecture (9K, 7K, 6K, 5K, 3K, 2K, 1000V) Software Defined Networking (SDA, SD-WAN) Familiarity with: Cisco (UCS, Nexus); HPE Nimble, HPE Simplivity, HPE Proliant; Dell PowerEdge; Nutanix; Pure Storage; Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Active Directory Equal Opportunity Employer
