LHH has partnered with a Seattle-based Commercial Real Estate organization in the search for a Senior Property Accountant. Our client seeks a self-directed and experienced accountant to take ownership of the full accounting cycle for a portfolio of commercial properties. Location: Seattle, WA • On-site
Responsibilities
Full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of commercial real estate properties
Budgeting, monthly/quarterly/annual CAM reconciliations, and utility billings
Monthly general ledger, financial statement preparation, and bank reconciliations
Lease input, tenant billing, and CPI increase processing
Intercompany entries and advanced spreadsheet work in Excel
Collaborate with ownership and external CPA for year-end close
Maintain strict deadlines and handle special projects as assigned
Qualifications
3+ years of commercial property accounting experience, specifically in retail, strip mall, or office properties
Deep familiarity with CAM billing and reconciliations
Comfortable functioning as the sole accounting resource, managing end-to-end responsibilities independently
Experience with Sage 300 and/or Yardi preferred
Strong organization, independence, and communication skills
Salary range: $85,000 – $110,000
401(k) with employer match
100% employer-paid medical and dental insurance
PTO: 10 vacation days, 6.5 sick days per year
