and the role: As the Director of Finance, you will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team, driving financial clarity, business performance, and growth across all brands and new ventures. You will own the financial health of the portfolio—from cash management and compliance to capital structure and strategic growth planning. You are analytical, action-oriented, and thrives in dynamic, multi-entity environments. You will lead a lean but mighty team, coach financial talent, and ensure departments have the financial insights to make informed decisions. REPORTS TO : CEO TYPE OF POSITION : Full Time, Hybrid A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Lead all budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning across all brands and business lines Manage OMC's Profit First cash flow strategy across entities to ensure clarity, margin protection, and runway Partner with the CEO on capital strategy, scenario modeling, and expansion planning Financial Reporting & Operations Own timely, accurate financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, and annual) Manage internal systems (QuickBooks, Gusto, HubSpot) and lead training, optimization, and standardization Ensure clean, reconciled books across all entities and lead the monthly close process in partnership with the Senior Accountant Oversee all legal, tax, and insurance compliance Manage audits, filings, reporting deadlines, and regulatory adherence across state and federal levels Liaise with external legal, insurance, and tax partners on company compliance and risk strategy Strategic Finance, Fundraising & Acquisitions Lead financial diligence and modeling for new business ventures and acquisitions Support seed through Series A/B fundraising efforts, including cap table modeling and investor reporting Advise on equity-based compensation plans, bonus structures, and growth incentives Manage and mentor a small internal finance team and develop scalable processes and roles Support People & Culture in compensation planning, employee onboarding, and benefits modeling Equip operational leaders with clear financial insights, department budgets, and training to drive accountability Stakeholder Communication Present financial reports and growth strategy to CEO and executive team Serve as key financial liaison for investors, banks, legal, and advisory partners Deliver clear, strategic recommendations and highlight risks and opportunities in real time COMPETENCIES Strategic Thinking:
