Tactical Networks Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

As a tactical network systems engineer on our team, lead engineering efforts to develop, operate, and maintain complex technology systems using engineering principles, theories, and concepts. Shape Navy missions by designing and developing systems and evolving them with advanced technology solutions. Broaden your skillset into areas like model-based systems engineering and big data management. Merge operational Navy experience and network design to create complex system architectures and contribute to information assurance systems for the Navy. Qualifications

Experience with capability analysis, requirements definition and management, system test and integration, writing technical documentation, and creating design artifacts Experience with Navy operations Experience with Navy C4I systems Experience with Navy Submarine Networks Ability to analyze customer capabilities and support missions through detailed processes and requirements traceability TS/SCI clearance Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, Mathematics, or Physical Science and 2+ years of experience with engineering and systems architectures for DoD systems, including design, development, and integration throughout the systems engineering process and systems development lifecycle, or 4+ years of experience with engineering and systems architectures for DoD systems, including design, development, and integration throughout the systems engineering process and systems development lifecycle, in lieu of a degree Nice If You Have

Experience with network engineering concepts and technologies Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills Master’s degree in Engineering CCNA, ASEP, Network+, PMP, or Security+ Certification Clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date. Identity Statement
