Overview
We’re seeking a high-caliber finance professional to join our executive leadership team and support the CFO in overseeing all financial operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and has significant experience in corporate finance, accounting, governance, and ERP systems. Responsibilities
Provide senior-level financial leadership, overseeing the accounting and finance functions of the company. Lead, mentor, and manage the finance and accounting team, ensuring efficient daily operations including financial reporting, compliance, and cash flow management. Prepare, review, and analyze internal financial statements, forecasts, and management reports to ensure accuracy and provide actionable insights to guide strategic decisions. Serve as primary finance liaison for corporate governance matters. Prepare materials and participate in meetings with the Board of Directors and relevant committees. Utilize strong ERP knowledge to optimize financial operations. Experience implementing or upgrading ERP systems is highly desirable. Design, implement, and monitor internal controls and business processes to enhance efficiency and reduce risk. Ensure full compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies. Contribute to long-term financial and strategic planning, including capital structure, risk management, and employee benefit programs. Work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams (e.g., Operations, HR, IT) to align financial goals with organizational strategy. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline. MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus. CPA (or similar professional accounting certification) strongly preferred. At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in financial leadership, with 3–5 years in a senior role such as Head of Finance, CFO, or equivalent. Demonstrated experience working in a company with annual revenues over $100 million. Deep familiarity with GAAP, financial modeling, internal control frameworks, and corporate governance. Direct experience in implementing or managing ERP systems. Knowledge of employee stock ownership plans (ESOP) and related financial reporting and governance is desirable.
