Global Sr Director, Human Resources Business Partner - GBS
We are seeking a strategic and globally minded Senior Director of Human Resources to lead HR initiatives for our expanding Global Business Services (GBS) organization. This role will be pivotal in establishing and scaling new capability centers across Europe and Asia, while also supporting operations in the Americas. The ideal candidate will bring deep HR expertise, global perspective, and a passion for building high-performing, service delivery teams. Responsibilities
Partner with GBS and regional leadership to define and execute a global HR strategy that supports operational excellence, innovation, and compliance. Serve as a strategic advisor and coach to VP, Global Business Services on workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee engagement, and organizational development. Manage stakeholders to negotiate compliant policy outcomes spanning HR and GBS leadership. Directly manage three regional HR leaders, each responsible for their respective Integrated Capability Centers (ICCs), ensuring alignment across geographies and consistent execution of the global HR strategy. Lead HR strategy and execution for the launch of new capability centers in Europe and Asia, including site selection, staffing models, and regulatory compliance. Support existing and evolving operations in the Americas, ensuring alignment with global standards and local needs. Develop and implement talent strategies to attract, retain, and develop top-tier talent across diverse geographies and functions (product support, quality, and commercial operations). Foster a culture of integrity, innovation, and inclusion that reflects the mission to improve the lives of people with diabetes. Oversee HR operations across all supported regions, including employee relations, compensation, benefits, and compliance with healthcare industry regulations. Drive continuous improvement in HR processes and systems to support a global, agile workforce. Partner with business leaders and HR colleagues to define short- and long-term HR KPIs and align them with business plans and local goals; focus on organization structure, talent acquisition support, performance management, training and development, talent management and succession planning, engagement, recognition, rewards, and retention initiatives. Promote HR process standardization and process improvement based on feedback from leaders, managers, and employees. Lead change management efforts related to organizational restructuring, new market entry, and digital transformation. Ensure clear, consistent communication across regions to support employee engagement and alignment with company values. Requirements
15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including global or regional roles and at least 5 years managing geographically dispersed teams. Proven success in building and scaling HR functions in multinational environments. Experience launching or supporting established global capability centers or shared services hubs or similar type experience for at least 2 years. Strong understanding of employment laws, healthcare compliance, and cultural dynamics in Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Bachelor’s degree; Master’s or MBA preferred. Preferred Skills/Competencies
Demonstrated experience developing consultative partnerships and ability to influence internal customers, colleagues and cross-functional leadership. HR leadership experience in a Global Business Service (GBS) setting, establishing Global Capability Centers (GCC) and operating in steady state for 3+ years. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written). A creative thinker with alternative solutions and the ability to recommend best-fit solutions in alignment with business goals. Highly process-oriented with regards to workflow. Results oriented, resourceful self-starter with demonstrated time management and execution skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail, systems and processes. Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Strong conflict management, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Embraces challenges and change; flexible, adaptable and reliable. Highly customer service focused and team oriented. NOTE: This position is eligible for hybrid working arrangements and requires on-site work from an Insulet office. Salary & Benefits:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $194,700.00 - $292,050.00. The range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and other factors, including skills, experience, and education.
