Overview
A leading global fund administrator with over $400B+ in assets under administration is seeking a Private Equity Director – Fund Accounting to join its team. This is a senior leadership role, offering the chance to manage complex closed-end fund structures, develop client relationships, and lead a growing accounting team within a dynamic, tech-enabled environment.
Base pay range
$160,000.00/yr - $185,000.00/yr The Role
You’ll oversee and drive the delivery of private equity fund accounting services, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and client satisfaction. Responsibilities include: Managing closed-end fund accounting processes, including capital calls, distributions, NAV calculations, and financial statement preparation Overseeing fee calculations, P&L allocations, waterfall models, and IRR reporting Developing and maintaining strong client relationships, serving as a key point of contact Leading and mentoring a team of up to 10 accounting professionals, ensuring workflows are efficient and well-controlled Managing audits, client onboarding, and fund transitions Continuously improving processes, systems, and team performance to maintain best-in-class service standards What We’re Looking For
10+ years of experience in private equity fund administration or alternative investment accounting At least 3+ years in a management/supervisory role with proven success leading teams Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field Strong knowledge of fund accounting, performance reporting, and private equity structures Excellent leadership, client management, and communication skills Investran experience preferred, but not required Why Join
