Overview
We are seeking a strategic, data-driven finance leader to join our growing team as Director, Commercial Finance. This role partners closely with senior leadership to build accurate forecasts, track performance, and turn complex data into actionable business insights. As the primary finance partner to Marketing and Sales, you’ll guide investment decisions, evaluate initiatives, and help the organization achieve its financial goals. This is a highly visible role with direct impact on strategic decision-making. You’ll work alongside a passionate leadership team, collaborate cross-functionally, and help shape the financial future of a dynamic and growing business. Hybrid schedule: in-office Monday–Thursday, Friday remote.
Salary Base pay range: $200,000.00/yr - $240,000.00/yr. Optional relocation package available if needed.
Responsibilities
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting, including revenue, expense, and cash flow projections
Analyze performance vs. budgets, forecasts, and prior periods—identifying root causes and trends
Develop clear, impactful reporting decks for senior leadership and the Board, including KPIs and scorecards
Partner with Demand Planning to align financial forecasts with S&OP
Lead financial analysis of marketing, sales, trade spending, and pricing strategies to optimize ROI
Build and improve financial models, reporting tools, and dashboards to support decision-making
Own the annual budgeting and long-range planning process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and cross-functional alignment
Mentor and develop team members while fostering collaboration and accountability
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CPA/CFA a plus)
8–10+ years of experience in financial planning, forecasting, or commercial finance leadership
Proven ability to develop and maintain complex financial models
Advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
Experience with ERP and forecasting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Planful)
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills
Strong leadership abilities with a track record of building trust and driving results across teams
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
