The Opportunity B.E. Smith is proud to partner with McBride Orthopedic Hospital in the recruitment of a new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This position offers an outstanding opportunity for a physician-oriented executive to build upon McBride’s strong culture and track record of success, while advancing operational excellence.

The Position The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for strategic planning, organizing and directing the financial accounting functions of the McBride Orthopedic Hospital and McBride Orthopedic Hospital Physicians. Supervises the accounting and accounts payable functions to ensure that the organizational financial objectives are met or exceeded. Provides leadership and direction in ensuring the efficient, economical and effective utilization of facility resources to meet the identified needs of the service region through medical care and health service programs. This role reports to the Chief Executive Officer.

The Ideal Candidate

Preferred Master’s Degree or CPA. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.

Preferred 5+ years of senior healthcare leadership experience in both the hospital and clinic setting. A minimum of 3 years hospital finance senior leadership experience required.

Strong Leadership and communication skills as well as strong orientation to team work.

Able to convey a positive image to the hospital family and community.

The Organization McBride Orthopedic Hospital has been a trusted orthopedic clinic and hospital for more than 100 years and is nationally recognized as a leader in orthopedics and sports medicine. McBride Orthopedic Hospital is a physician-owned specialty hospital, located in north Oklahoma City. The organization is accredited by DNV GL-Healthcare, generates $200M in net revenue annually, has 38 physicians, 900 employees, one hospital, one outpatient surgery center and seven clinics. The Hospital is licensed for 68 Acute Care beds and includes 9 OR Suites and 10 PACU Beds, as well as a 24/7, Level IV Emergency Department. Services include Hospital Imaging, CT Scan, Ultrasound, MRI, Laboratory, Pharmacy, Physical and Occupational Therapy, In-House Dietary and Environmental Services, Business Offices, Health Information Management, Case Management and Social Services.
