We are looking for a Senior Analyst to independently manage Gap Brand Store Payroll. In this highly visible role, you will collaborate with, influence, and strategize with the Director, Gap Brand Finance, Stores & Operations, and field leadership. This role supports the strategic growth of the Stores channel and requires analytical rigor, attention to detail, strong relationship-building, and a results-driven mindset. What You’ll Do
Partner with management to model and manage all store payroll and related expenses for the growing Gap North America fleet, including developing and communicating periodic labor forecasts to store leadership and internal finance partners Engage with central store operations and cross-functional leads to develop labor plans, model initiative expense profiles, and quantify opportunities related to pilot and optimized productivity initiatives Develop the annual budget for store labor with central store operations and corporate partners for cross-brand investment aligned to strategic priorities Provide analytical support to recommend improved management of store OPEX in a growing business Identify key drivers of store OPEX variability and develop recommendations to mitigate risk or capture opportunities, with a focus on forecasting accuracy Influence cross-functional partners using fact-based, data-driven insights Who You Are
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field 3-5+ years of financial analysis experience, consulting, Big 4 accounting, or related equivalent Experience in store payroll or retail industry is highly preferred Ability to synthesize large data sets into a cohesive framework Strong problem-solving skills and results-driven mindset Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and professionalism to drive accountability Advanced Excel skills and modeling; knowledge of Oracle financial systems and Essbase/Hyperion is a plus Benefits At Gap
