With Lyten 3D Graphene, we’re pushing the boundaries of what’s possible by improving energy storage, developing stronger and lighter plastics, and creating advanced sensors that can detect beyond today’s limits.We’re looking for passionate and talented individuals who want to work at Lyten and help create a brighter future for generations to come!**Key Responsibilities:*** Lead the development of control systems for automated manufacturing equipment, including PLC programming, HMI/SCADA configuration, and electrical hardware integration.* Design and review electrical schematics, control panel layouts, and field wiring plans using tools such as AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN.* Support commissioning, debug, and optimization of production equipment across mechanical, electrical, and software interfaces.* Work closely with process, mechanical, and software teams to develop robust, scalable automation solutions.* Troubleshoot field issues involving sensors, motors, drives, I/O, and networked devices across the control stack.* Contribute to internal standards for code structure, electrical design, and safety compliance.* Mentor junior engineers and interface with external vendors, integrators, and OEMs during system development and deployment.**Minimum Requirements:*** Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Controls, Mechatronics, or related Engineering field.* Minimum of 7 years of experience in industrial automation or controls engineering, preferably in high-throughput production or in environments transitioning from R&D to production.* Proficient in PLC programming (ladder logic, structured text), and experienced with HMI/SCADA platforms such as Ignition, FactoryTalk, or similar.* Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, including control panels, field devices, and basic power distribution.* Able to read and generate electrical schematics, I/O lists, and control documentation.* Hands-on experience commissioning complex electromechanical systems.* Provable record of independently leading high volume automation equipment deployments.**Bonus Experience (Not Required but Valuable):*** Exposure to roll-to-roll manufacturing, automated material handling, or robotic assembly systems.* Familiarity with DC-DC and AC-DC power distribution, especially in energy-intensive or formation-like applications.* Experience integrating controls with building management systems (BMS) or energy monitoring tools.* Understanding of safety standards (UL508A, NEC, NFPA 70E) and design best practices for high-density electrical systems.* Background in battery manufacturing, semiconductors, web converting, or other advanced manufacturing industries.**Compensations Range:**The expected base salary range for this position is between$141,100.00 - $211,700.00The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include location, relevant prior experience and/or education, or particular skills and expertise.**Disclosures:****Pay Transparency Disclosure:**This compensation and benefits information is based on Lyten’s estimate as of the date of publication and may be modified in the future. The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include location, relevant prior experience and/or education, or particular skills and expertise.
