Opportunity Overview

With this role, you’ll be joining the Product Support Group at Nextest, the memory division of Teradyne. This position is essential for resolving issues related to mechanical, electrical, and control system while also managing expectations and commitments with customers. Within this role, you’ll be providing Technical Support to all active customer base, Field Service Engineers (FSE) as well as within the factory working closely with the various groups; Marketing, NPI, Engineering. You will be collaborating with various teams to ensure that customer escalations are resolved to minimize system downtime. You will continue to develop relationships and add value to your customers by providing technical expertise in solving customer problems. This position is based in San Jose, CA for Teradyne Memory Division- Nextest. Manages customer requests, product escalations, and service emergencies Defines and executes product upgrade strategy and spare level planning activities, working closely with Finance, Planning, and Operations. Creates and manages new FRU’s (Field Replacement Units) into FRU database as required Leads and delegates assignments to regional PSG engineers Provide product support to all active installed base Support of new and existing mechanical interface products Support outgoing quality inspection and shipment of spares and EAUs Create Purchase Requisitions for various materials and work with Planners and Buyers Leading the collection, summary, analysis, corrective actions, and reporting of data in alignment with Engineering, Operations, and Sales. Coordination with Test Cell Partners (Probers / Handlers / Manipulators / etc.) Creation of Training Documents and Procedures Training of GSO (Global Support Organization) personnel Coordinate and execute PUP and PIP activities at international sites as needed Travel for Training, Support, and Installation Activities Worldwide All About You

If you’re ready to join us in this mission, take a closer look at the minimum criteria for the position. 5-10 years of experience in the semiconductor test industry Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Computer Engineering Strong communication, organizational and multi-tasking ability Ability to keep track, record and carry out tasks according to schedule Worldwide travel (0%-30% post-pandemic), meeting customers, and doing business with international partners Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Networking fundamentals Proficiency in ERP systems - Oracle, JIRA, RapidResponse, ServiceNow, etc. Knowledge of the Magnum product lines - Preferred Compensation

The base salary range for this role is $89,800-143,700. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location. Incentive Plan
