Universal EVS Worker - Housekeeping Pay Rate
– $20.36 /hour On-Call
– 0-8 Hours/Week Shift Schedule
– Varies Responsibilities
Sweep and mop resident rooms, halls, stairways, elevators, and other areas assigned. Clean and scour toilets, tubs, and showers in patient tub rooms and all public bathrooms, supplying paper and hand soap as necessary. Clean lounge furniture, nursing stations, medicine and treatment rooms, tub and shower rooms, clinic area, and other ancillary and activity areas. Maintain facility in a sanitary and infection-free condition through cleaning of equipment and furnishings. Sort soiled linen, fold clean linens, and process resident laundry. Clean up human waste and other body fluids; dispose of trash, waste, and disposable materials as required. Qualifications
Some knowledge of materials, equipment, and methods used in cleaning, disinfecting, and linen/laundry processing. Experience in custodial work preferred. Ability to operate a vacuum, work in confined spaces around furniture and breakable objects, and maintain constant contact with residents. Ability to read and write in English, follow simple instructions, and work in close quarters with others. Additional Information
