Overview
IT Enterprise Architect – Booz Allen Hamilton (Air Force). The Opportunity: A well-designed network is critical to move data and enable the Department of the Air Force to achieve their missions. You will develop the exact network the Air Force needs, combining technical skill and careful planning. You will help lead Air Force cyberspace into the future by developing transformational Information Technology architectures using Digital Engineering and Model-Based System Engineering. You will serve as a subject matter expert for AF implementation of DoD Zero Trust strategies, perform technology research, and work with program engineers to develop architectures to meet customer requirements. Responsibilities
Develop information technology architectures using Digital Engineering and Model-Based System Engineering. Serve as a subject matter expert for Air Force implementation of DoD Zero Trust strategies. Perform technology research and work with program engineers to develop architectures that meet customer requirements. Develop networks and related equipment/software designs aligned with current and evolving needs. Grow skills in networking, data analytics, modeling software, and techniques; merge cyber systems design with digital engineering.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience managing or operating enterprise-level networks or systems. 2+ years of experience reviewing, analyzing, designing, or integrating IT systems or networks. Experience working with customers, vendors, and key stakeholders. Knowledge of Zero Trust methodologies and strategies. Secret clearance. Bachelor's degree in an IT or Engineering field. Ability to obtain a Security+ Certification within 6 months of start date.
Nice to Have
Experience with MBSE tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect or Cameo Enterprise Architecture. Experience with DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) or Unified Architecture Framework (UAF). Experience designing, deploying, and integrating enterprise information systems and services. Experience working with senior leaders in the DoD/DAF. Knowledge of Zero Trust implementation techniques and real-world employments. Knowledge of DoD and AF network design, administration, and policies. Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Clearance
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
Compensation
Salary range: $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). Compensation is determined by location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, contract-specific factors, and organizational requirements. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
