Overview
PC Assembler - soldering specialist - small electronic assembly Must have small soldering experience. Will be tested at interview. Certifications NOT required - experience with SMALL soldering is required. Looking for good attitude, willing to work, excited to get the valuable company experience and opportunities! Responsibilities
Performs assembly steps, with little or no assistance to, PC board assembly and soldering, chassis wiring and soldering, mechanical assembly, and inspection Follows operation sheets, engineering drawings and engineering change orders in completion of the assembly tasks Exercises care to ensure that each step in the process is completed correctly and that the part or finished product meets the quality specifications Maintains records as required to charge direct labor time to specific product amounts Performs duties using a variety of small hand tools and related production equipment Provides training and mentoring for other employees as required Performs other routine operations within fairly similar situations as required Provides written and/or oral communications concerning a variety of situations Keeps workstation, tools and equipment in a neat and orderly manner Understands and complies with all Company, safety rules and regulations Engages and participates in a self – directed teaming environment Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or GED IPC-A-610 Certification – DESIRED J-STD-001 Certification – DESIRED Experience: 1-3 years of manufacturing experience Skills: Handling basic or simple tools and/or measuring devices such as micrometers, calipers, radius gauges, etc. Basic computer skills Skills in simple mathematical counting Ability to interpret drawings and operation sheets and perform in-process inspections Dexterity and good hand–eye coordination Desirable: Past experience in a manufacturing environment doing small soldering Desirable: Past experience in a self-directed teaming environment Desirable: Lean manufacturing knowledge Additional Information
