Overview
Our client, a growing HealthTech SaaS company, is seeking a
Technical Architect
to help shape and drive the evolution of their technology landscape. This role will be central to designing scalable, modern systems that leverage
microservices, APIs, and Microsoft technologies . The Enterprise Architect will partner closely with business and engineering leaders to define architecture standards and guide the transformation of core platforms. This role is hybrid 3x a week onsite, so please keep that in mind while applying. Key Responsibilities
Define and maintain the enterprise architecture strategy with a focus on microservices and API-driven solutions. Lead the modernization of applications from monolithic systems to modular, service-oriented architectures. Establish architecture standards, best practices, and governance across engineering teams. Partner with stakeholders to understand business goals and translate them into scalable technical solutions. Oversee solution design using the Microsoft technology stack (Azure, .NET, SQL Server, etc.). Provide architectural guidance on integrations, interoperability, and data flow across systems. Mentor engineering teams in adopting architectural principles, frameworks, and reusable components. Ensure solutions meet requirements for security, scalability, and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, SOC 2, etc.). Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 10+ years of progressive experience in software engineering or architecture roles. Strong expertise in
microservices architecture
and
API design/management . Proven background working with the
Microsoft technology ecosystem
(Azure, .NET Core, SQL Server, Azure DevOps). Experience leading large-scale modernization efforts and platform transformations. Solid understanding of cloud-native design, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD practices. Excellent communication and leadership skills; able to collaborate across business and technical teams. Experience in healthtech or other regulated industries is a plus. Employment Details
