Overview
Job Title: Java Backend Developer Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid) one week onsite every month Duration: Long-term contract W2 (No Third Party Candidates) Need strong experience with Data Structures and Algorithms; expertise with coding tests (e.g., HackerRank). Responsibilities Apply expert knowledge of Data Structures & Algorithms to backend solutions. Develop with Java and the Spring Boot framework. Utilize Amazon Web Services (Aurora, S3, EC2, Lambda, Athena) in deployments. Design and implement RESTful services and microservices architectures. Conduct test automation across Unit, Integration, Regression, and Load testing. Work with modern infrastructure tools and pipelines (GitLab CI/CD, Terraform). Use ops/tools for logging and metrics (New Relic, Splunk, CloudWatch). Experience with messaging technologies/patterns (Kafka, SQS).
Qualifications
8+ years of hands-on Java development experience. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to travel to Seattle for one week per month. Authorized to work in the United States.
