In this role, you will work closely with the VP of Developer Experience and the Ecosystem team to build next-generation community features and an Add-On framework. Your contributions will directly impact the product roadmap, user experience, and overall business outcomes. In this role you will: Design, build, and maintain full stack solutions for NinjaTrader’s web-based and cloud-based products Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including UX/UI designers, backend services, and QA—to deliver high-quality features and improvements Contribute to performance optimization, ensuring real-time responsiveness and scalability in mission-critical applications Work on both server-side (Node.js, Express, or similar) and client-side (React, TypeScript, or similar) codebases, ensuring seamless integration Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues in a timely and efficient manner Help drive best practices and coding standards to maintain code quality and reliability Participate actively in code reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and continuous process improvement initiatives What you'll need: 3–5+ years of professional software development experience in a fullstack capacity Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and/or WebSockets for real-time communication Experience with cloud-based infrastructures (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and automated testing Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to take ownership of features from concept to production Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a distributed or cross-functional team environment Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Compensation: The salary range for this role will be $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 USD annually. In addition, this position will also receive an annual target bonus of up to 10%. Bonus pay at NinjaTrader is based on individual performance (50%) as well as company/team performance (50%). Salary and bonus earnings are only two components of the total compensation package offered by NinjaTrader. Additional details on our total compensation package and benefits are listed below.
