Overview
Sr. Software Engineer – CMS Developer role at Universal Orlando Resort. The position provides specialized skills to design, code and deliver complex solutions for Digital & Technology. Works with business partners to solution content and manage websites and mobile applications. May lead a team and provide training to junior members to drive design and coding solutions. This position is based in Orlando, Florida and may require travel to other NBCUniversal parks and properties on occasion. Major Responsibilities
Code contributor front end with focus on RWS Tridion development, HTML, CSS, .NET, and Angular across multiple applications and tools. Develop reusable content management components with future growth in mind. Build public sites from scratch: blueprinting, content modeling, create schemas, templates, and components. Set up workflows and configuration in publications for WorldServer (translation tool); create new publications and new user groups; define Content Types and Page Types for Experience Manager. Collaborate with creative, marketing and vendor teams on content-managed websites and mobile apps using our CMS (Tridion) for multiple channels & products. Provide clear direction on accessibility/ADA compliance (AA, W3 standards) to be included in CMS workflow. Set up workflows, configurations in WorldServer and define content types for Experience Manager. Participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities. Performs other duties as assigned. Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Technology, Computer Programming and Analysis, Industrial Technology, Electronics Engineering Technology, or related field or equivalent years of experience. Experience
5+ years of equivalent work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 4+ years of experience working on large CMS systems. 2+ years of experience in RWS Tridion development. Experience in architecture and content modeling schema. Familiarity with OData model Workflow and event system in Tridion. 4+ years of experience in UI and UX technologies including guest facing web and mobile. 4+ years working with large public sites using HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, SASS, and XML.
