Overview

The Air Dominance & Strike team develops aerial and multi-domain robotic systems, taking products like Fury (unmanned fighter jet) and Barracuda (air-breathing cruise missile) from concept to product. The team also develops Lattice for Mission Autonomy, Anduril’s software platform that enables Fury, Barracuda, and other robots to collaborate across missions. We work with specialist teams to solve hard problems for our customers. We are looking for software engineers and roboticists excited about creating a powerful autonomy software stack that includes computer vision, motion planning, SLAM, controls, estimation, and secure communications. Responsibilities
Develop and contribute to autonomy software stack enabling perception, planning, control, and secure communications for multi-domain robotic systems. Collaborate with Perception, Motion Planning, Hardware, and Test Engineering teams to solve hard problems and deliver product-ready capabilities. Translate concepts into robust software solutions that operate in real-world environments. Qualifications
Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance. Strong engineering background from industry or school, ideally in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics. 3+ years of experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, Rust, Go, JavaScript, etc. Experience building software solutions involving significant data processing and analysis. Ability to understand and navigate complex systems and established code bases. A desire to work on critical software with real-world impact. Preferred Qualifications
Strong background in Physics, Mathematics, and/or Motion Planning to inform modeling and simulation and physical systems. Experience developing and testing multi-agent autonomous systems and deploying in real-world environments. Feature and algorithm development with an understanding of behavior trees. Experience developing software/hardware for flight systems and safety-critical functionality. Knowledge of distributed communication networks and message standards. Knowledge of military systems and operational tactics. Compensation and Benefits
US Salary Range $138,000—$252,000 USD. The salary range is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual offers may vary based on work experience, education, and other factors. Equity grants are included in the majority of full-time offers as part of total compensation.
