Where Data Does More. Join the Snowflake team. We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead our Cortex LLM Platform team, a critical component of Snowflake's AI strategy. This platform underpins all AI products that use LLMs, including Snowflake Intelligence, AISQL, REST API, and other surfaces delivering value directly to our customers. The role is managing the engineering team that develops high-performance and scalable services, integrating expertise in AI systems, service deployment, and data infrastructure. Responsibilities

Set the strategic vision for the team and be accountable for plans and deliverables in a fast-paced environment

Hire and develop talented senior technical leaders

Drive team projects from idea formulation through implementation in collaboration with partner teams

Translate product requirements into engineering work and coordinate with cross-functional teams

Foster a culture of creativity and innovation while promoting practical decision-making

Be responsible for evolving the organization structure and improving engineering efficiency

Qualifications

Advanced degree in Computer Science

5+ years of engineering management experience, including managing managers

3+ years of hands-on software engineering experience at staff level with AI infrastructure background

Strong track record of recruiting, leading and growing technical teams

Solid engineering fundamentals in software infrastructure and services

Excellent collaboration and communication skills with ability to influence across global organizations

Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan. The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
