More than 5 years of experience with Cloud Technologies preferably with AWS, container orchestration, building and managing platform with Kubernetes in production, supporting production workload Operate with a security-minded approach across application and infrastructure lifecycles Strong Infrastructure as Code experience with CloudFormation and/or Terraform Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technology like Kubernetes Expert level experience in service mesh design and implementation including Istio Expert level knowledge and hands-on implementation experience with Kubernetes, specifically with EKS Experience with large-scale microservice architectures and moving monoliths to microservices Extensive experience with serverless technologies like AWS Lambda Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, ArgoCD, or GitHub Actions Proficiency in scripting languages such as Go, Python, or Shell Strong desire to use configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or Salt Solid understanding of Linux, kernels, and networking Fundamental networking and cloud networking concepts On-call rotation experience and production support Strong troubleshooting skills across Application, Database, Linux, Container, Networking, Storage, and Access Control Additional skills
Experience with hosting and CDN technologies like Akamai and Cloudflare Experience with cybersecurity, threat detection and mitigation with Akamai Monitoring and alerting solutions including Datadog, Prometheus and Grafana Logging and log aggregation solutions like Splunk, ElasticSearch and AWS CloudWatch Logs Tracing and debugging across container, network, storage, and compute layers Certifications in Linux, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes Please refer to our Candidate Privacy Notice for more information about how we process your personal information, and your data protection rights. The base pay range may vary with our hybrid working policy and individual factors such as knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role is eligible for SIE’s benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, wellness program and employee discounts for Sony products.
