Location: Chicago, IL. Licensed Professional Engineer with project management experience requested to join the growing team. Responsibilities

This is a full-time role for a Senior Civil Engineer located in Chicago, IL. Execute and follow through on engineering design processes to ensure successful project delivery. Manage, review, and assist with engineered drawings, submittals, deliverables, and other documents for consistency with work scope; assess conformance to contract specifications and resolve conflicts in interpretation. Oversee and ensure all submitted plans and documents adhere to standards, specifications, codes, and client requirements. Use manuals, guidance, standards, and engineering judgment to provide infrastructure solutions for projects of moderate to large size and complexity. Technical assignments may include roadway and highway geometrics, roadside safety improvements, drainage system design, traffic analysis and design, barrier warrant analyses, maintenance of traffic, general civil/site plans, and related tasks. Review Phase I preliminary design studies and project reports, review project specifications, and check design computations. Coordinate with IDOT, local stakeholders, regulatory agencies, and community members. Qualifications

Licensed Professional Engineer in Illinois Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering 7+ years of experience in the Civil - Transportation engineering field Strong knowledge of Phase I/II industry design standards and specifications Ability to work seamlessly with a project team, including staff, clients, and sub-consultants Must be organized, self-directed, able to prioritize and multitask, and able to take direction from others; strong time management and attention to detail Knowledge of transportation design standards, including AASHTO, CDOT, IDOT, ADA, and MUTCD design guidelines
