Strategic Financial Leadership
Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business goals and employee-ownership model. Advise executive leadership on capital investments and growth opportunities. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling across business units. Financial Operations & Reporting
Manage all core finance functions: accounting, tax, internal controls, treasury, and cash flow. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual), adhering to GAAP and regulatory standards. Lead audit processes and compliance with applicable regulations. Develop and maintain financial control systems to safeguard company assets and data integrity. Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks. Manage banking, insurance, and third-party finance relationships. Operational Finance & Performance Management
Oversee cost accounting and performance metrics across diversified services. Align financial planning with operational goals and service-line profitability. Champion process improvements and efficiency initiatives in financial workflows. Lead, mentor, and develop a large finance team to support growth and succession planning. Promote a collaborative, solutions-oriented culture aligned with the company's employee-owned values. Stakeholder Communication
Present financial insights to key stakeholders: Board, employee-owners, executive team. Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable information for non-finance audiences. Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA, CPA, or advanced degree preferred. 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, ideally in agriculture, real estate, or multi-unit services. ESOP experience is strongly preferred. Technical Proficiency
Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance analysis. Familiarity with GAAP, audit processes, and regulatory compliance. Leadership & Communication
Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams. Excellent stakeholder management with clear presentation and negotiation skills. Strategic Mindset
