Job Description / Preferred Qualifications Responsibilities

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are looking for an Associate Test Engineer who will be involved with the testing of new technologies. In this position you will work on assignments that are moderately complex in nature, where judgment is required to resolve problems and make routine recommendations. Self-motivated individual who is always willing to self-improve and highly reliable to support tool operations

Support mechanical assembly and disassembly of various sub-systems on the tool, including cable routing

Support mechanical tool reintegration and verify consistency with structured procedures provided by Manufacturing Development Engineers

Test, troubleshoot, and rework assemblies and/or entire tool for qualification testing and upgrade operations

Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems

Work on assignments that are moderately difficult, which require judgment in resolving issues

Perform ongoing daily work with minimal instruction, and with general instructions on newly introduced assignments

PROFICIENCIES:

Hands-on experience with Ultra High Vacuum Systems testing, integration, and troubleshooting

Previous experience working with Vacuum Chambers, Vacuum Gauges, Valves, Pumps, etc.

Knowledge of electron optics, pneumatics, robotics, and High Voltage electronics is a plus

Follow existing checklists, processes, and protocols

Create, write, highlight, modify technical documentation and procedures

Work in a clean room Class 100 environment is required

Assist with improving Manufacturing process

Hands on experience using Oscilloscopes and DVM (Digital Voltmeter) tools and equipment is preferred

Use and manipulate a variety of fine adjustment hand tools, torque wrenches and calipers

Work effectively across different functional teams in different locations

Assist in technical conference calls and support issues external to the Manufacturing Cell

Demonstrate excellent written and oral interpersonal skills in English

Demonstrate excellent organization skills, with a logical approach to problem solving, good time management and task prioritization

Ability to work with a minimum of supervision

Stand, sit, bend, and periodically lift to 50 pounds with assistance

Ability to travel up to 25% of the time; Domestically and Internationally

Knowledge of MS Office suite software and other applications is a plus

Minimum Qualifications

4 years of relevant experience or Bachelor's degree. Or 2 years of experience and an Associate\'s degree.

Base Pay Range: $27.89 - $47.41 Per Hour
