Base pay range $105,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr
Additional compensation types Annual Bonus and Sign-on bonus
Description:
Our client—a highly reputable and industry leading organization in the financial services sector—is currently seeking an ambitious, smart, and dedicated individual to provide integral support within the organization’s Corporate Finance & Analysis function. This individual will have the opportunity to partner with executive leadership, to gain a breadth of exposure in facilitating the proper execution of accounting and corporate finance functions.
It is critical that this individual be entrepreneurial-minded and possess the ability to thrive in a fast-pace, ever-changing environment.
Responsibilities:
Directly support CFO and team in the development and documentation of various policies and procedures
Manage financial reporting process for various business entities including capital and consolidation reporting
Maintain and ensure accuracy of systems, internal controls, closing and fee schedules
Facilitate and support annual audit procedures and tax deliverables
Finance Duties:
Facilitate financial reporting processes such as budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, profitability analysis/projections and other operational analysis; consistently evaluate processes to identify potential to automate and streamline finance procedures
Source and utilize external data resources to accurately benchmark operational performance
Provide regular reporting/analysis to support and evaluate business operations; work cross-functionally with internal departments to ensure financial alignment to the organization’s strategic growth objectives
Support Finance team and department operations on ad-hoc project requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required (dual concentration is a plus, as is CPA or MBA)
3-5 years experience in corporate finance / FP&A capacity
Intermediate to advanced proficiency using Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, formulas)
Analytical acumen – individual possessing strong organizational skills, attention to detail and an aptitude for quantitative analysis and problem-solving
Capable to manage projects with accuracy and effective communication in a time-sensitive, collaborative, and team-oriented dynamic
