Our client, a leading software company specializing in process automation and AI-driven solutions, is hiring a
Technical Accounting/SEC Reporting Manager
to join their team. This person will sit within a collaborative accounting policy group, with responsibilities split between technical accounting and SEC reporting. They are offering a competitive compensation package (base salary, annual bonus, and long-term equity incentives), along with the opportunity to join a strong and stable team in a high-visibility role. Key Responsibilities
Serve as the point person for complex accounting areas, including stock-based compensation, valuations, lease accounting, and sales commissions. Research, document, and implement new accounting standards, preparing technical accounting memos to support positions. Assist in compiling and reviewing 10-Ks, 10-Qs, proxy statements, 401k reporting, and related disclosures. Collaborate with Operations, Sales, HR, and Legal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and provide guidance on accounting matters. Partner with external auditors and support Internal Audit on SOX compliance. Contribute to special projects and ad hoc technical accounting initiatives. Qualifications
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Active CPA license. 5–10 years of progressive accounting/audit experience Public accounting (Big Four/Large regional firms) experience Strong technical accounting knowledge and SEC reporting exposure. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft concise memos and disclosures. Preferred: Public company or software/technology industry experience NetSuite or Intacct software experience Seniority level
