Responsibilities

Upstream Activities

Lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic product plans and objectives

Conduct complex market and competitive analyses to identify unmet needs, whitespace opportunities, and differentiation strategies

Drive the development of biomechanical, pre-clinical, and clinical evidence supporting product development and commercialization

Oversee and manage high-impact project plans, ensuring alignment between engineering, regulatory, and clinical teams

Lead execution of design reviews, V&V testing, cadaver labs, and advisory boards

Ensure regulatory compliance through ownership of high-quality documentation (DHFs, DMRs, and DHRs)

Downstream Activities

Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for new product introductions

Oversee creation of impactful sales tools and educational materials (technique guides, training modules, sales collateral)

Collaborate with operations and supply chain to manage forecasts, inventory plans, and product availability

Analyze product performance across multiple channels and integrate market feedback into roadmap decisions

Drive continuous improvement through voice-of-customer programs and post-launch field evaluations

Customer-Facing Responsibilities

Partner with sales teams to refine positioning, competitive messaging, and field strategy

Deliver clinical training and education to surgeons, sales reps, and OR staff

Provide advanced intraoperative support during product launches and evaluations

Serve as a field-based escalation point for complex technical or clinical issues

Champion customer insights internally to influence product evolution and strategic direction

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree or MBA preferred

5+ years of relevant experience in product management, ideally within medical devices or healthcare

Proven success in launching and managing high-impact products

Exceptional cross-functional leadership, project management, and communication skills

Strong knowledge of product lifecycle management and regulatory documentation

Ability to travel up to 25% to support field initiatives, customer visits, and cross-site collaboration
