Component Quality Management: Lead or support qualifications of new components and requalification activities (e.g., Product Change Notifications) in line with Client’s Product Life Cycle and APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) processes. Preventive Quality Planning: Plan, initiate, and oversee advanced quality measures during the design and development phases to ensure supplier components meet all technical and quality requirements. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with global and cross-functional teams including Purchasing, Engineering, Project Management, Local SQM, Customer Quality, and Logistics. Audit & Corrective Action Review: Participate in the review of corrective actions from VDA 6.3 audits, with a strong focus on early involvement and preventive measures. Knowledge Sharing & Continuous Improvement: Contribute to lessons learned and best practice sharing across the category, organization, and supplier base. Requirement
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronic and/or Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 3 years’ working experience in Automotive Industry. Good understanding of Component Introduction in design and development phase and APQP management. Ability to understand, discuss and align technical requirements with high focus on requirements engineering based on drawings and specifications. Good knowledge in processes for plastic over molding/molding and its secondary processes with cosmetic requirements, stamping, press-fit stamping, sub-component assembly, automated inline testing, wire cutting/terminating for cable assemblies. Strong knowledge in quality-related methodologies and standards (e.g., FMEA, 8D problem solving, 5Why, etc.).
