The Radiation Oncologist will be responsible for working closely with other cancer specialists committed to prevention, early detection, diagnosing and treatment of patients. This position provides medical care and research specializing in treating cancer with radiation therapy; design and deliver radiation oncology treatment using the most advanced radiation technologies available. Provide divisional support with clinical services, new technologies and research projects, including working closely with other cancer specialists to discuss individual patient treatment options and create personalized treatment plans, participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and cancer committee. Physician must be American Board certified in Radiation Oncology, and must possess valid State of Texas medical license. We have a New Comprehensive Cancer Center that was completed in the fall of 2023. The new facility will be 55,000 sq ft, multi-level facility. The facility includes Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Chemotherapy Suite, Radiation Therapy, HDR Brachy Suite Ready, Supportive Care, Telehealth, & PET/CT. Current Shannon Oncology Center
