The Brigham and Women’s Community Health Group at Brigham and Women’s Hospital seeks a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gynecologist to join our collaborative community-based practice team as an Attending Physician. The candidate should possess an exceptional work ethic and a spirit of inclusivity. A commitment to interdisciplinary team care of patients is required. Strong ambulatory and gynecologic surgical skills are essential. The candidate will provide the full spectrum of gynecologic care, including major surgeries such as laparoscopic hysterectomies, myomectomies, and hysteroscopic procedures. A commitment to teaching fellows, residents, and medical students is also required. The role involves providing GYN services at Brigham and Women’s Brookside Community Health Center and other community health centers around Boston, MA. The centers serve a large Spanish-speaking population, so multilingual skills are strongly preferred. The focus is on routine and diagnostic ambulatory GYN services, including minor office procedures and outpatient surgeries. Patients may be referred by internists, nurse practitioners, and nurse midwives, or may self-refer. Brookside is a licensed Community Health Center of Brigham and Women's Hospital, offering multidisciplinary care across various medical fields, including OB/GYN. It serves over 12,000 patients annually, with most speaking Spanish and coming from socioeconomically under-resourced backgrounds. The staff is bilingual in English and Spanish. Brookside is also a teaching site for several medical and health professional schools, including Harvard Medical School. Academic rank will be at Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor level at Harvard Medical School, based on experience and achievements.
