Overview
Houston Methodist Neal Cancer Center is looking for a Genitourinary (GU) Medical Oncologist at our Texas Medical Center campus. Applicants must be fellowship trained in Medical Oncology. Priority will be given to candidates with dedicated training in GU Medical Oncology. Candidates should be board certified (or board eligible) in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Applicants must have or be able to obtain a Texas medical license. Responsibilities and opportunities
Focus on clinical trials in interventional GU malignancies, with focus on prostate, bladder, and kidney cancer. Leverage an established clinical trial support unit to function as a clinician investigator within a collegial, multi-disciplinary group, consisting of GU focused urologists, pathologists and radiation oncologists. Collaborate with a robust and well-funded translational science team. Demonstrate academic productivity in the realm(s) of clinical research, cancer prevention, health services research and/or translational science. Train post-graduate learners, including fellows in the Heme/ONC fellowship; training is a priority. About the group
