Responsibilities
Provide bedside wound care in the post-acute care setting: Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
Deliver modern wound management at the bedside and conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
Participate in a mobile practice visiting facilities within a 40–60 mile radius; typically 2–3 facilities per day and ~20–30 patients per day.
Documentation at point of care in real time during rounds using the proprietary wound-specific EMR.
Part-time role: minimum 3 days per week; Full-time role: 4–5 days per week.
Paid training provided during onboarding and a 6‑month wound care fellowship.
W2 employment contract; No visa sponsorship available.
Requirements
Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state of practice.
Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
Practice Overview
Full-time work: Monday–Friday (7am–4pm) or part-time available.
No call and no weekend clinical responsibilities.
Physicians deliver modern wound management at the bedside in the post-acute care setting: Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
Part-time role is a minimum of 3 days per week. Full-time role is 4–5 days per week.
This is a mobile practice: physicians visit facilities in a 40–60 mile radius of practice location.
Physicians visit 2–3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20–30 patients per day.
Clinical documentation is at the point of care, in real time during rounds, using the proprietary wound-specific EMR.
Paid training is provided during onboarding plus a 6-month wound care fellowship.
W2 employment contract (No work visa sponsorship).
