Overview
The Mount Sinai Health System is currently seeking a full-time Hematologist/Oncologist to join its multi-specialty practice in Long Island. Mount Sinai Doctors Long Island is seeking a full-time Hematologist/Oncologist. Joining this multi-specialty group with its main site in a state-of-the-art, 80,000 square foot ambulatory facility in Huntington will allow the physician to rapidly grow a practice by servicing a large and diverse patient population in Huntington and other nearby Mount Sinai Doctor sites. Long Island is known for its beautiful communities with excellent school districts, art museums, restaurants, and concert venues. Manhattan is a short drive or train ride away. Mount Sinai Doctors Long Island offers comprehensive care through its sites and is comprised of 77 physicians representing almost every medical and surgical specialty. The site has a full imaging center, an on-site accredited office endoscopy center, an on-site Laboratory, and a comprehensive support team including RNs and MAs. The ideal candidate will play an instrumental role in ensuring excellent patient care, quality outcomes, and satisfaction and will have a passion for Medical Oncology and be fully committed to the mission of Mount Sinai Health System. The chosen candidate will have the opportunity to partner with the world-renowned Icahn School of Medicine. Mount Sinai’s Department of Hematology/Oncology is strongly committed to caring for the whole patient, with emphasis on patient-centered care. The division pursues an integrated approach to patient care, research, and education in alignment with the Icahn School of Medicine mission. Responsibilities

Medical Degree from an Accredited University New York Medical License Board Eligible or Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology Committed to Mount Sinai and the communities we serve Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills A strong work ethic and a desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance-driven environment Compensation range from 300K to 425K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits). Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, historical collections, and hospital/community need.
