Renown Health
and the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine (UNR Med) are Nevada's first integrated academic health system. As the main teaching hospital, physicians foster the teaching of Residents and medical students from The University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine. Working with an established Research Department provides support to coordinate clinical trials or take the opportunity to conduct research on University campus.
Position Highlights
Monday – Friday schedule 8 am to 5 pm
Dedicated First Assist surgery support on all cases
Da Vinci robotics system offering total of (6) robots - Xi and 5
Ability to collaborate with strong multispecialty support within Renown Medical Group
Competitive Compensation – Salary guarantee + Productivity Bonus
$30,000 Start to Work Bonus
Malpractice paid + 100% tail coverage
Full Health Benefits - medical, dental, vision
401K
CME Stipend $5,000
No State Income Tax
Responsibilities The ENT surgeon will provide medical and surgical care for patients in the community. The physician will have the opportunity to attend weekly tumor boards and be involved in furthering public health education, teaching, and research. The Renown Regional facility houses the William N. Pennington Cancer Institute to provide full-service patient care and collaboration, including Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Infusion Center and Surgical Oncology. The surgeon will work with strong specialty support from Plastics, Ophthalmology, Anesthesia, dietitians, speech and language therapists, administrative staff and other multispecialty physicians in the medical group.
Qualifications
Board-certified (BC) ENT Surgeon
Minimum 5 years of clinical experience
Completed 5-year accredited Otolaryngology (ENT) Residency program
Completed 2-year Head and Neck Oncology Fellowship
Strong work ethic with a focus on quality
Collegiality and teamwork in the department
Reno/Tahoe Community
