Hematology/Oncology Opportunity in Yuma, Arizona
Join a cancer program with a decade-long commitment to innovation, collaboration, and whole-person care. This Hematology/Oncology position offers immediate patient volume, clinical trial involvement, and future leadership potential. Practice in a robust, full-service cancer center with advanced technology and a strong support team in a sunny, affordable Southwest location.
Practice Overview
You’ll join a team of two Hem/Oncs, two Rad Oncs, and three NPs, with support from radiation therapists, oncology pharmacists, and clinical researchers
Fully integrated cancer center with onsite infusion, lab, radiation, imaging, palliative care, and clinical trials
1:5 phone call only, weekly rotation; requirement to be within 1 hour of hospital
Onsite capabilities include PET/CT, BITE therapy, radiation therapy, oncology rehab, and nurse navigation
Schedule
Full-time, traditional clinic model with first patient at 8:20am and last by 4pm
After year one, option for a four-day workweek with protected admin time
Daily census of 12-15 patients with 3-5 new consults weekly
All-phone call handled Friday to Friday, shared among physicians
Compensation & Benefits
$630K-$660K+ base with productivity upside; no cap on earnings
You can reach over $800k with the comp model
Sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, 35 days PTO, 6 paid holidays
CME allowance of $5,000 and $2,500 toward licensing and fees
401K with 4% match, malpractice with tail, lifestyle and wellness stipends
Candidate Requirements
BE/BC in Hematology and Oncology; new grads and experienced providers welcome
Comfort managing a high-volume clinic with broad-spectrum cancer cases
Interest in clinical research and teaching encouraged but not required
Must live within one hour of hospital due to call responsibilities
