Provide technical, educational, clinical and sales support to assist the Region in meeting Cardiac Ablation Solutions sales and customer service objectives. Represent Medtronic CAS during ablation procedures to provide troubleshooting and other technical assistance. Receive technical inquiries from customers and research solutions (e.g., catheter, console, generator support). Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on technical matters relating to AFS products and related procedures. Conduct one-on-one training sessions, in-service programs, seminars and/or outside symposiums. Assist RM and field training department in educating/training new Clinical Specialists and Account Managers. Provide training and resources for hospital staff to enable them to train their personnel. Provide Sales Support by updating sales representatives on procedures and notifying Account Manager of issues requiring follow-up. Serve as the Medtronic CAS representative to physicians and support staff regarding products, service and support. Promote the safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS products and related procedures. Understand national, regional and territory sales objectives and work with Account Manager to achieve/exceed goals. Minimum Requirements
High School diploma or GED plus a minimum 11 years of work experience in healthcare within an EP, Cath Lab setting or sales in cardiac field. OR Associate degree plus a minimum of 9 years of work experience in healthcare within an EP, Cath Lab setting or sales in cardiac field. OR Bachelor degree plus a minimum of 7 years of work experience in healthcare within an EP, Cath Lab setting or sales in cardiac field. IBHRE or RCIS or RCES Certification required. Preferred Qualifications
Local candidates and those with Medtronic experience are preferred. B.A./B.S. in nursing, cardiovascular, life sciences, or technical discipline with minimum of four years’ work experience in cardiac field, hospital/clinic or sales. Pacing school/ATI-like training program in addition to BQs. Proven track record with technical training assignments. Experience in the cardiac catheter ablation field, EP lab, in a hospital/clinic or EP medical sales providing technical/clinical support. Additional Job Requirements
Environmental exposure to infectious disease and radiation. Clinical Specialists must be within their assigned territory daily and available for unscheduled needs. Occasional travel outside the territory and overnight stays may be required. Must have a valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance; driving record will be reviewed. Ability to move freely throughout facilities, operate a computer, and interact with personnel. Physical ability to stand/sit/walk for up to 8 hours. Ability to travel up to 80%. Medtronic offers a competitive salary and flexible benefits. The base salary range for U.S. locations is typically $110,000 to $130,000, with eligibility for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) and additional benefits including health, retirement, and well-being programs.
