We are engaged by a Series B AI insurtech platform scaling rapidly across the United States. Our client applies machine learning and modern data infrastructure to streamline underwriting, pricing, and claims decisions for carriers, MGAs, and brokers. We are hiring a Head of Product to own product vision and execution, lead a high-calibre team, and ship market-defining capabilities at pace. What you will do
Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap across data, models, core platform, and customer experiences Hire, lead, and develop product managers, designers, and product analysts with clear operating rituals Drive customer and partner discovery; translate underwriting and claims pain into crisp problem statements and PRDs Partner with data science and engineering to deliver reliable, explainable ML that meets regulatory and customer expectations Define platform standards for APIs, integrations, and data pipelines; align with ecosystem partners to accelerate adoption Establish pricing and packaging with revenue leadership; coordinate launches with enablement and go-to-market plans Set and manage success metrics such as adoption, time to value, retention impact, and model performance in production Build strong cross-functional alignment with sales, customer success, security, legal, and compliance to ship on time and at quality What success looks like in the first year
A clear product strategy and sequenced roadmap balancing near-term demand with platform foundations Two or more high-impact launches that lift conversion, improve loss ratio, or increase NRR Scalable API and integration patterns that shorten time to value for carrier and MGA implementations An inspectable operating cadence with predictable delivery and crisp stakeholder communication A product organisation known for strong discovery, fast iteration, and evidence-based decisions What you bring
Proven product leadership in SaaS with meaningful time in insurance, Insurtech, or adjacent risk analytics Track record shipping data and AI-powered products into regulated enterprise environments Fluency in underwriting and claims concepts and comfort engaging actuarial, risk, and IT stakeholders Strength in API platform thinking, integrations, and ecosystem partnerships Command of discovery, prioritisation, and outcome-driven roadmapping Excellent communication and stakeholder management with a builder mindset suited to high growth Why this opportunity
