What You Will Do
Join HII’s Mission Technologies Division as a Purchasing Representative for the COMNAVAIRPAC Carrier Engineering Maintenance Assist Team (CEMAT). Manage the procurement and distribution of materials, including obtaining vendor quotes, processing requisitions, and verifying the accuracy of received goods for use on CVNs. Experience You Must Have
6 years relevant experience with a Bachelor’s in a related field; 4 years relevant experience with a Master’s in a related field; or a High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience. Experience generating material requisitions in the US Navy Supply system as a contractor, government employee, or while serving in the US Navy. Experience using Relational Supply (R-Supply) and Organization Maintenance Management System (OMMS-NG). Experience researching, ordering and shipping material. Experience using logistics tools such as Haystack, OneTouch, and Fedlog. Maintaining material inventory and issuing material. Creating, maintaining, verifying and filling required requisition forms, bills of lading, records and files. Reconciliation of invoices and generating status reports on logistics activities and issues. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security clearance and CAC badge with base/ship access. Preferred: Bonus Points For
One or more assignments onboard a US Navy Aircraft Carrier. US Navy Supply background as active-duty Navy and/or as a contractor. A current or active DoD security clearance. Physical Requirements
May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
