We are seeking a

Senior Business Developer – Provider Relations

to help lead growth and referral development efforts across Central New Jersey. This

high-impact, field based role

focuses on expanding our provider network and market visibility by cultivating strong relationships with referring physicians and identifying strategic opportunities for growth. The ideal candidate has

7–10 years of experience

in

healthcare sales or business development , specifically in

orthopedics, pain management, or related medical device sectors . This individual contributor role offers autonomy, ownership of territory performance, and a direct line to the CEO. Territory Coverage

Central New Jersey, including: Branchburg Somerset Hillsborough Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain relationships with primary care providers, chiropractors, and specialty physicians (e.g., rheumatology, podiatry, endocrinology) Promote Performance Ortho’s integrated care model and value proposition to external providers Utilize the CEO’s chiropractic background to foster co-management opportunities with chiropractic groups Drive increased referrals and strengthen long-term provider engagement Strategic Growth

Identify and pursue opportunities for growth through partnerships, affiliations, and territory development Conduct ongoing market analysis to inform referral strategy and identify underserved areas Collaborate with leadership on new service line initiatives and community outreach strategies Relationship Management & Community Engagement

Serve as liaison between external referral sources and internal clinical/administrative teams Ensure consistent, professional follow-up and relationship continuity with providers Represent Performance Ortho at local events, conferences, and provider meetings Performance Tracking & Reporting

Maintain accurate CRM records (e.g., Zoho) of provider interactions, referral trends, and follow-up activities Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including new referrals, provider retention, and reactivation metrics Provide regular updates to CEO on market feedback, growth opportunities, and outreach performance Success Metrics

Net new referring providers added Retention of active referring providers Reactivation of lapsed referral sources Contribution to referral-driven patient volume and clinic utilization Required Qualifications

7–10 years of experience

in healthcare business development, medical sales, or provider relations Background in

orthopedics, interventional pain management, or related medical device sectors Proven ability to develop strategic relationships and drive referral growth Strong knowledge of local provider landscape and referral behaviors Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce) and performance tracking tools Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience working in or selling to orthopedic and/or multi-specialty medical practices MBA or relevant advanced degree Highly relational and persuasive communicator Strategic thinker with strong execution skills Self-starter with high accountability and ownership mentality Data-driven with the ability to manage and interpret outreach KPIs Mission-aligned and patient-centered approach to growth Benefits
