Responsibilities
Human Centered
Collaborate with tech teams to build comprehensive acceptance criteria, identify and elevate needs for additional research to define future feature design
Break down business epics into features and user stories, guiding the team toward lowest effort or MVP for valid feature tests
Business Focused
Use hypothesis-driven assessment of data to ensure the product or feature delivers on real business needs
Own and prioritize feature development roadmaps, following necessary processes to manage risk
Technology Driven
Work autonomously in an agile environment, conducting research and developing features using new and evolving technology
Collaborate with designers, technologists, data scientists, and subject-matter experts to build cutting-edge solutions
Deliver well-managed product platforms by understanding technology trends and architecture strategy
Transformational Leadership
Participate in horizontal forums to build trusted relationships with tech teams, designers, stakeholders, and partner teams
Articulate a succinct product roadmap to deliver value and share with stakeholders
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or military experience
At least 1 year of product management experience or at least 1 year of experience in product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering
1+ years translating business strategy or analysis into consumer-facing digital products
1+ years of experience working on core product platforms powering digital experiences
1+ years working with cross-functional teams as a product owner in an agile development process

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below by location. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated. See offer letters for specifics.
McLean, VA: $109,000 - $124,400; New York, NY: $118,900 - $135,700; Richmond, VA: $99,100 - $113,100. Other locations follow location-specific ranges.
This role is eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives. Capital One offers a comprehensive benefits package. Eligibility varies by status and role.
