Position: Physical Therapist at MPHS-Mills-Peninsula Medical Center. Responsible for assessing, planning, organizing, and participating in rehabilitative programs that improve patient mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury. Maintains patient, family, and healthcare provider cooperation through competent assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication. Adheres to local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. Provides clinical supervision of assistants and aides, and serves as clinical instructor for assigned students. Responsibilities

Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs to improve patient mobility, relieve pain, and increase strength. Improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury. Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, families/support groups, and other healthcare providers through assessment, monitoring, and communication. Ensure privacy and safety by adhering to all applicable regulations, codes, policies, and procedures. Provide clinical supervision of assistants and aides; serve as clinical instructor for assigned students. Education & Certification

Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program Or graduate of an accredited physical therapy program demonstrated with a valid PT license PT-Physical Therapist BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider Other approved license applicant or resident training program employee considered Experience & Skills

Typical Experience: 2 years of recent relevant experience Critical thinking, complex problem solving, decisive judgement; ability to work independently Knowledge and application of professional practice and regulatory requirements Ability to work in a demanding environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet timelines Computer and technology proficiency Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, teamwork, customer service, and community relations Ability to retain and apply new knowledge and skills; keeps abreast of professional practice development Job Details

Pay Range is $63.77 to $79.71 / hour. The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any geographic differential. Compensation takes into account factors including experience, education, licensure, certifications, department equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is one piece of the total rewards program; eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package. Location note: Burlingame, CA.
