CT Technologist . Schedule: Thursday, Friday, Saturday Night Shift 6:30 pm - 7:00 am 13-week contract assignment Pay Rate:
$75/hour Note:
Local applicants only - this is not a travel contract. Responsibilities include: Performing all CT examinations according to department procedures and protocols. Interviewing patients for history related to CT exams, including unusual conditions or limitations. Preparing and administering contrast media, both oral and IV. Monitoring patients for abnormal changes in color, respiration, heart rate, and responsiveness; responding to emergencies; maintaining emergency equipment. Verifying patient identification as per safety protocols. Providing radiation protection to patients, staff, and self using appropriate lead shielding. Assisting patients to and from wheelchairs, stretchers, and CT tables. Preparing patients for procedures following departmental protocols. Verifying radiology orders with patients' charts or prescriptions, consulting physicians if needed. Assisting radiologists in interventional CT procedures, including biopsies. Using hospital information systems like EPIC to access laboratory results and exam information. Minimum requirements: High school diploma or GED Registration with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist CPR certification CT certification Johns Hopkins Health System and its affiliates are Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employers.
